Road Safety Statement and action plan
Today (19 July 2019) The Department for Transport has published its Road Safety Statement and supporting action plan.
The statement sets out a number of steps to help reduce the number of people killed or injured on our roads. It focuses on four main groups; young road users, rural road users, motorcyclists and older vulnerable road users.
